Liz McGown grows pinot noir and chardonnay on her vineyard at Tinderbox, a tiny locality just south of Hobart. The views over the Derwent River and out to sea are spectacular.
The wines display all the cool climate finesse and pristine fruit flavours for which Tasmania is becoming famous. The pinot in particular has enjoyed great wine show success as well as popular acclaim in recent years, and usually sells out quickly.
